Library and Archives
The Canada Science and Technology Museum’s Library holds thousands of items relating to the history of science and technology, with a special emphasis on Canadian developments.
Included in the collection are over 28,000 books, 3,300 rare books, and 200 current periodical subscriptions, as well as multiple volumes of more than 1,200 historic journals and magazines. An additional 40,000 pieces of Trade Literature can be found in the Library’s vaults.
Subjects covered include agriculture and food, communications, energy and mining, forestry, graphic arts, land and marine transportation, industrial technology, medicine, physical sciences, space, and more.
